I came across these comments in Hello Future Me's most recent video.
From Magicov who is a pretty prominent HTTYD Youtuber:
I recently went to the toronto film festival HTTYD THW Panel, and there is a clip that showed how they find the hidden world. They only discover it after hiccup has made toothless the prosthetic tail and toothless has flown off in search of the light fury (who dean confirmed will not have a name due to its status as a wild beast) stormfly is tracking toothless and they find the hidden world by accident. This kinda conflicts with your theory somewhat around 4:40. That scene we saw in the trailer of them flying through the hidden world, amazed, was actually really depressing believe it or not. After Hiccup discovers toothless in his new habitat, he realizes what has happened to his best friend. -Magicov
This one is even more interesting:
I've been doing a bunch of research about the movie, and I've found articles about conventions and leaked scripts that fit with certain scenes, and leaked images, so here is what I know, so pretty much, the very first scene is Hiccup, Astrid, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, and Valka attacking a hunter ship to save dragons in a very sloppy rescue, Snotlout even manages to catch his butt on fire even though he has on fireproof armor, and Fishlegs is carrying one of meatlug's babies, which we found out was named Fishmeat, and hiccup complains that he brought it, and there they rescue the crimson coregutter, the big purplish dragon from the trailer, which has a strange sense of protection over Fishmeat apparently, and the hob gobbler, the dragon in the soup from the trailer, also the part where hiccup abd toothless walk through fire is in this scene, and then it goes to them back on berk and hiccup talks to Gobber in the great hall, and Gobber complains like in the trailer, and they walk over to a table the gang is at, and a food fight breaks out, then Gobber says that Hiccup and Astrid should get married, and then awkwardness falls over everyone, and and then Astrid gets up, says something like "not awkward at all" and leaves, then sometime later Hiccup is on an island close to Berk, and for some unexplained reason so far, has a flashback with Stoick from when he was a kid when Stoick tells him about the hidden world, which he knew as a giant hole where the dragons come from guarded by a waterfall at the edge of the world and Stock tells hiccup if it is real, he wants to seal the hole, stopping the dragon war, then Astrid finds him and says this is where he escaped from Gobber, and they make some jokes about marriage while toothless and stormfly are playing fetch with Hiccup's detached prosthetic, and then Toothless hears something and goes into the woods, Hiccup and Astrid follow, then the stuff with first meeting the Light Fury happens, and some time later, Grimmel is in Hiccup's house with one of his Deathgrippers and talks with Hiccup who has out his flame sword, and this is the conversation from the trailer where Grimmel said he killed the night furies, then there is an attack on berk where the towers collapse which I think is just the Deathgripper, or possibly the other 5, yes there are 6 total, and then after it is over, the hiccup speech about leaving happens, and they do, and eventually find a place to camp, and at night while everyone is sleeping the Light Fury appears to Toothless and he follows her to the beach, but Hiccup follows them too, then there is the whole Toothless flirting fiasco, and after she hits him with a paw, she goes over to a branch and hangs like a bat, then hiccup tells Toothless to take her off the branch so he climbs up on the branch and jumps on it, making the Light Fury fall off, and she gets angry, but Toothless has an idea and takes the branch draws her very accurately, and hiccup says "oh now you can draw" and the Light Fury is impressed, and she walks over to him stepping on the line making him growl, which she growls at, and he smiles awkwardly like at the very end of the trailer, and she invites him to fly with her ,but she finds Hiccup and leaves and Toothless runs into the water, flapping his tail into the water very annoyed, and then the next scene is Hiccup making Toothless the automatic tailfin in his tent, like the tail from gift of the night fury, but he takes some of toothless's scales and crushes them and mixes it with his saliva to probably fireproof it, then Astrid comes in and says they say something along the lines of, "He didn't want it then, why would he want it now" "He didn't have a reason to want it before now", then she leaves, and Gobber and Eret come by, and hiccup tells them toothless got back from his first date, and then hiccup puts the tail on Toothless who thinks it is a game, and then Toothless hugs hiccup and he tells Toothless to save it for his girlfriend, then Toothless leaves and hiccup looks sad and walks away, and later, maybe the next day, toothless isn't back yet, and Hiccup, Astrid, and stormfly search for him, then they come across the hidden world and inside they see a huge crystal, they get off stormfly and hide, then they see Toothless on top of the crystal surrounded by many dragons, including multiple other light furies, the number is unknown, and Astrid says, "now that's a king" after seeing how regal toothless looks and hiccup is upset, then the Light Fury goes up to Toothless and they do a little sort of dance and the dragons roar in acceptance of their new queen, but then a rumblehorn comes from behind Hiccup and Astrid and try to bite them, and so do many other dragons, but Toothless saves them, and that is all I know so far besides the trailer info which isn't really much to go on unless you put it with other info, and unfortunately I cannot provide a link, but if you search a bunch of Tumblr and Twitter pages about this movie, you eventually will see this stuff, also one more thing I forgot to mention, in official images of the gang, Tuffnut has a small new dragon, which is not the hob gobbler, on the back of his head for some reason, he may find it and take care of it, like he did with chicken, and this isn't important but now that I think about it, chicken is probably dead, also here are my death predictions, Hookfang, possibly Drago kills him, and then Snotlout could also be killed by Drago after trying to avenge Hookfang's death, also I think either Ruffnut or Spitelout will kill Drago as revenge for Snotlout and Hookfang's death, and then Toothless kills Grimmel as revenge for the night furies, and possibly his family who he could have remembered Grimmel killed through a flashback, and then between the main storyline and the future part, I think gothi dies off screen from old age, and Fishlegs could be New Berk's healer.

This kind of blew me away so I wanted to post it here in case DreamWorks pulls it :/
