Probably one of the best X-Men movies ever made to date, for sure is the best Wolverine film, and is probably one of the best superhero films too.
Reasons:
The action- Pretty much non stop, in a nice gritty style, the way a Wolverine movie should be.
The story- Easy to follow, never is too slow, or never really treads on, never really gets boring.
The acting- The acting and portrayals are phenomenal. Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier is always delightful to watch. Boyd Holdbrook is an amazing villain. Dafne Keen's portrayal as Laura, or X-23 is a show stopper. She nailed it in this movie. And last, but not least, Hugh Jackman. Forever our Wolverine. As always, he kicks ass in this movie, and gives us an outstanding final portrayal as Wolverine.
The tone/overall feel of the movie - Gritty, full of non stop action, and surprisingly touching at times. One of the best parts of this whole movie is that even though it is a superhero movie, it doesn't feel like one. The stakes aren't incredibly high, and the movie never really gets off track from its story.
All in all, Logan is an amazing film, plain and simple. -
