Which do you like better? I think they both bring too many movies out. I feel like I can hear the writers discussing: "hey we need to bring another movie out soon for more profits" so they force up an idea instead of someone having a good original idea.

I honestly don't know which I like better. Pixar's brought out a lot of the favorite movies of my childhood (like Up, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc., and so on) but DreamWorks brought me How to Train Your Dragon, for which I will love them forever. However, in general I would say that Pixar produces better quality movies than DreamWorks. But I do agree that both companies are pulling out the movies way too fast nowadays.

Wait, theres Universal studios as well isn't there. I agree I'd say Pixar is definitely better, I don't really like Dreamworks movies much.

Yes. Pixar has a better movie history. It has made so many high quality movies. DreamWorks just made How to Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me, Rise of the Guardians, Home, Shrek and others that I didn't even bother watching. The only movie by them that I really care about is How to Train Your Dragon.

I would say Disney (including Pixar) because they were around much longer than DreamWorks. It was only formed because Jeffrey Katzenberg used to work for the latter, and sought revenge. Not to mention that every film they create are constantly box office successes.
DreamWorks either churns out excellent films, i.e. Shrek 2 and Prince of Egypt, mediocre ones (Madagascar), or horrible ones (Bee Movie...ugh). So yeah. This was a very excellent topic you brought forth. -
DreamOfNight Novicei agree. Disney Pixar is better, they have a better movie history. but DreamWorks is not the worst. yes they make crappy movies but they have good movies too. like everyone said, How To Train Your Dragon, Shrek, Despicable Me, Rise Of The Guardians and Kung Fu Panda (i love this movie!). but in the end, Disney always wins.

Despicable Me is NOT a DreamWorks film. It's Illumination Entertainment. *facepalm*

XD then my dad was wrong in telling me it was a DreamWorks film xD
