Im ALL for ass kickings on tv. and I dig It when a 110 lb girl beats the snot out of 5 large men, because its hilarious and exciting! And I love it when a monstrous guy starts splittin wigs left and right...all fun and games right.. what I HATE is when they innacurately portray the potential of violence.
I HATE it when an averagely sized female with flailing fists and emotional temper knocks around fully grown men, and the viewers are expected to believe she has no super powers. Ugggh bulls---.
Its a LITTLE bit better when they give the female character some actual technique and focus, but its pretty much the same boat if they show the chick fighting with the same moves and styles a 220 pound man would.
Im not saying its unreasonable for a woman to hand a man his ass, but its just laughable when they act like women have the same energetic potential with 69% the average mechanics. It JUST doesnt work that way.
s--- even a monstrously large guy would have a hard time going brute strength against somone like a cop. It makes no sense whatsoever.
And another thing: its dumb and unrealistic when one of the characters who's portrayed as a warrior type in the show has an agressive temper and foul mouth..real succesful fighters control their minds and keep it cool.
Its bad enough when they make it like the out of contrl brute is somehow a dangerous foe for even people with training and intelligence, but when they make that brute a chick I wanna puke. -
^and this is one of the many reasons that I don't watch tv.
