So I used my old one today after a loong time I hadn't used it.First thing that happens when I press play-the tape breaks >.> all the film tape comes out of the VCR and the tape ejects itself onto the floor.
I remember now why I stopped using it and migrated to netflix XD my poor poor night of the living dead movie... -
I remember watching this one Halloween movie on a VCR when I was four. :3

Ah, I used to watch Godzilla films and other Monster movies.
Seriously though it was like I got slapped with the retro years when the tape broke XD -
and dude we had a VCR in like 2005. When did DVD players come out? do you know.

Uhh I wanna say late 1999 or early 2000s perhaps. My VCR is from 1990 so yeah XP the VHS tapes are from around the same year as well.

I think thats what busts the tapes actually, especially if its a movie you've never seen and you have to figure out when its starting.
Not a fan either :P as much as I appreciate the good ol' days looking back closely I'm pretty glad we've advanced from that. -

the only problems I have with disks are
1: you drop it BAM you instaly scratch it.
2: they ask you if you want to start where you left off, and you always hit the wrong button.
3: they cost A LOT. expecially blue ray. -
True, however with DVDs you can play them on computers, and some game systems like a playstation.
Though I do tend to lose disks all the time XD -
helpme_ NewbieI like vhs better...I like how you can stop it and it starts where you left off. I like rewinding and fast forwarding - the select a scene thing on dvds is just annoying. And you have to go through the ads and menus each time, ugh.
