I thought Asa Butterfield portrayed Ender perfectly, and the movie was truly amazing. I wish it was more true to the book, but it didn't infuriate me as much as other movies do sometimes. I think that is true because of the scenes they did include. Petra, Bonso, Bean, Dink, Peter and Valentine were all included. Ender's fear of Peter and courage towards Bonso were completely accurate and impressive.

I haven't gotten to see it yet. D: I was so happy when I learned there was a movie. I absolutely love the book. Can't wait to see it.

I understand that they cannot incorporate a 300 page book in a 2 hour movie. But I do wish that they had expanded further on the mind games, the construct of the fleet, and what Valentine and Peter did after Ender left.

I'm going to see Ender's Game tomorrow. I even bought the book. I'm probably going to read the book after I watch the movie, though. Because the movie starts at 1:10pm. I wake up at 10:00am. So I would have about 3 hours to read the entire book. I doubt it. Can't wait though!
