I've been an LotR fangirl for as long as I can remember. I grew up on the Extended Editions of LotR and the animated Hobbit. As for PJ's Hobbit trilogy 1) Azog was supposed to be DEAD already (did no one read the Appendices?) 2) they made up an elf chick named Tauriel and stuck her in and 3) they brought back Legolas as a main character (he wasn't even mentioned by name in the book, so it's not that I have anything against Legolas. But Martin Freeman IS Bilbo, I knew that from the first episode of Sherlock. So I've partially forgiven them. So if Smaug lives up to Tolkien's standard I will forgive them. Especially if Dain does kill Azog and Tauriel gets killed somewhere along the way (prefferable the Battle of Five Armies).

I'm gonna cry like a maniac if Fili and Kili die like they did in the book. Now, excuse me, I must now go and watch criminal minds.
