The Trickster NoviceI have a rough idea on what I want. Any tips?

Know how you want it to end. Write up a summary of each chapter, and expand on that. That way you don't drag things on, you don't get off topic, and it actually has a flow.

And make sure you always complete your thoughts. Dont let readers at the end thinking: "well, how was ____ supposed to end, that wasnt complete!"

I learned this from an author.
Although a good cliff hanger will leave readers begging for more, don't use it too often. It gets old, and readers will start to get bored (yes even WITH cliff hangers).
