SilverBlueMoon NoviceI'm hyperventalating and jumping off my walls; I'm so excited!
Several months ago, I won a contest to go the the World Premiere of the Hunger Games movie. All you had to do was write an essay.
So, guess who saw that essay, other than Suzanne Collins' very own publishing agent?
Her agent heard about me and looked up my essay, and is now willing to forward anything I want to write in a letter to the author directly.
AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Congratulations! :) That's very exciting! I'm still working up the courage to post a video of me singing online... ._. I'm a chicken...
-
SilverBlueMoon NoviceI would watch it. Is it a song cover, or one you wrote yourself?
I would post myself singing, but nobody deserves that kind of tourture... -
It would probably be a cover. But I never think its perfect...
-
OMGGGGG!
-
SilverBlueMoon NoviceI have zero idea what to write! What should I say that won't make me sound like an annoying fangirl?
-
Ummm . . . you could ask her for writing advice or something like that.
-
SilverBlueMoon NoviceI suppose I could. Right now, I'm doing a narrative about how I first found the books, and how they impacted me.
-
Tell her about that! Tell her how they impacted you! Use big words to make you sound sophisticated. Make the author feel good about herself because she changed/impacted/inspired/etc a reader.
I would do that. -
SilverBlueMoon NoviceSage; that is exactly what I've decied to do.
It's difficult though, to get the exact words right. I am trying, however.
