Hide the meanings of your words
In the feathers of mockingbirds
Dont let the false truth reach their ears
The casualties cause floods of tears
That drown the enemies when the wake
We've won the war but does that make
The means justified when we've reached the end?
To make things right we have to send
The letters back to the families
To open locked doors we need the keys
Recruit mockingbirds instead of pidgeons
Repeat the words and hope they listen
You trust them with your heart and mind
But one sneaks off behind the lines
Tells your story and all of mine
Returns back to us, all is fine
But their navies come across the sea
They know our plans, how could this be?
Root out the traitor, setanced to die
With one pitied bullet straight through the eye
And finally everyone of us heard

Reality is too good for me
