Ashlyn spun around and grabbed a lamp. Swiftly,the teenager smashed it on Linnea's cranium. 'Come on!' she yelled at Dacey, who was now awake. The group all split up.

Rolf suddenly heard a door open and footsteps across the floorboards. 'Hello? Ashlyn, are you here?' a voice asked. It was Darren!

Darren strolled through the household, Rolf listened carefully.

Dacey couldn't take it any longer,she darted out of her hiding place and ran over to the unaware single father in the hall. 'Mr. Myer, you need to get the hell out of here now!' she warned him 'There's a psycho in this house.'

Darren and Dacey travelled through the hallway. She led him straight to Ashlyn.

'Dad, we've got to get out of here!' Ashlyn told him. 'I know.' Darren nodded 'I called the police.'
