So, what's your favorite book?
Perhaps your a bookworm (I can relate) and a billion books just jumped into your head. Maybe you aren't much of a reader (what are you doing in this forum?) but one book in particular sticks out to you. Post your own as comments here!
My Favorite book: The Blue Roan Child

I absolutely loves this book! It is about a young girl who works in a stable during the medieval ages. She and this beautiful Arva mare run away to find the mare's colts which were taken by the evil Lord Ran. Its an epic fairy tale adventure, with the added bonus of horses! Very descriptive (sort of like Lord of the Rings) but also grabbing and filled with action. I cried at the ending.
But then again, I cry at most book endings. I don't like it when books end.
So, tell me what YOUR favorite book is, and maybe I'll read it at my next library stop! -
The sad thing is, I can't remember the name of the book I read growing up in third grade, but it was one of favorites. It's not a famous book, but I had found it in the school library. It was about a girl who's mother had gotten divorced, and started dating again, which she hated. She was described with having strawberry blonde hair and a cat who was her close friend (I think it was a calico). Such a bland explaination, but to this day I still try to find it. D: And I remember it's reading level was like, 5th grade.
Okay, so maybe I'm not naming a more currently age appropriate book, but I liked that one. xD It was somehow comforting to me to get lost in it and ignore the bullies that were around me.
