She breathed deeply, looking around. Her forehead was blood. She cried out for her mother, but it was silent. Lashing her tail back and forth, she stood up, then collapsed again. She was only seven.
Her name was Xera Four.
"Mom.."She coughed, her eyes growing heavy.
A tall woman with a similiar tail and looks appeared, smiling warmly..
Xera would of thought she was safe, had it not been for th eyes.
Her mother had kind, soft dark coffee brown eyes. This woman had pink eyes, as pink as the heart on the staff she held.
The woman grabbed Xera by the throat.
She scratched at the woman's hands, gasping for air.
"Can't..can't breathe"She gasped, just as the woman brought down the staff on the girl.
It shattered to a million pieces, and Xera heard the sweet melody Xen, her father, sung before the world went black.

The police arrived at the scene. Officer Gwylyn twitched her neko tail back and forth, nervous. "This room is cursed.."
The white skinned man beside her nodded, and looked at the bodies.

A man lay, his eyes wide open in alarm. His hair was ash grey, and his eyes were stone brown. His skin resembled a pale stone as well. His body was shattered, as if someone had tossed him into the wall.
A woman with curly brownhair and calm coffee brown eyes lay on the ground, looking as if she were having a simple nightmare. She was unharmed, yet dead. Her tail was curled around her, as she silently slept eternally.
The small girl was alive, but barely. Her skin was pastey, her eyes were rolled back in her head as they opened them. She was a bloody mess, but a bloodstained cloak lay across her, as if someone had thought about it being winter...
The staff lay in the girl's hand, glowing violently, malevolently.
A small girl appeared at the doorway, holding a basket of fruit.
"Whats....oh god."She gasped.
She ran off, and soon the whole town new.
Baby Miu, the one parent offspring, was parentless... -
The small girl was rushed to the hospital.
As soon as she awoke, the first words out of her mouth were "Kill me.."
"Why did she-Oh, Seta."The nurse whispered, staring nervously at the staff. It glowed, recognizing its name. A sinister laughing sound emerged from it....

ten years later
"Xera! Time for school."A smiling figure appeared at the door, wings folded against her back.
"Five more minutes.."The muttering reply.
"Xera, five more minutes and you'll be late. It's 7:45.."
The girl shot up, running toward the bathroom to get ready.
The blonde woman twirled her hair, a smug grin on her face "Actually, Eclipse, it's 6:45. Don't you know how to count.."
The woman laughed, and went downstairs to begin cooking breakfeast, smiling happily. -
Xera sat in class, her brown hair falling in her face.
Mr. Cavan went on and on about random crap noone cared about.
Xera blinked as a note levitated and landed on her desk.
A short white haired boy winked at her.
"Meet me at the willow at 4:00

Mitsumi Ganta"
She nodded slowely, sighing.
