The gentle rise of the golden sun
Warming within and without
Rays poised delicately,
Upon my home, upon my body
The clouds, dissolved, at rest
The aqua sky, clean and free
A midst, a bird, happily lost
The luscious blanketed grass,
Beneath my naked feet
Under the transcending shade
These leaves, yet to fall,
Flicker and flicker and flicker
This is a message, a sign
The completion within and without
This is summer

Sorry, I forgot to present the title above my composition, it's titled: Summer.
I would appreciate your general comments and even constructive criticism.
Also, please excuse the few errors that may occur whilst reading - first time poet.
Lastly, I would like to dedicate this thread to Madi, as she was my inspiration to create and to write freely, from the heart. Thank you Madi. -

Those words cut like clear glass,
Clear enough to be heard but not seen;
The blood gone, the wound present
Those tears are buried,
Buried in unconfronted shame
But still rises to this earth;
A ghost in the night
The doubt; a dampening of rain
The anger; a sea of glass
The loss; forever lost
It is gone
Shaded by lies, and revealed in the dark
Will it ever be found?
Be remembered?
Is it missed?
Is this search still to continue?
Seen in the water
Seen in the glass
Seen by the loved one
But I have not seen,
For I am gone -
