Jayden opened the dining room door for him.

Jayden followed him, sitting down at the usual table.

Chester sat next to him.

Maeve poofed into existence across from them.

Chester looked up, smiling. ‘Hey.’

"Hiiiii." Maeve said with a smile. "You two look happy."
"It's been a good day." Jayden grinned. -
Chester’s tail wagged. He grinned. ‘Yeah.’

Maeve chuckled, watching the tail. The food came.

Chester started eating.

Jayden did as well, leaning into him.

Chester smiled.
