‘Do you want to come?’ Chester asked, standing up.

Jayden thought for a bit. "No, I'm good." He answered quietly. "If she tries to do anything to you though, tell me. Got it?"

‘Will do,’ Chester said, kissing his forehead and walking to the door. ‘Love you.’

"Love you too." Jayden smiled as he left.

Chester shut the door on his way out. He walked down the hall to Beatrice’s room and opened the door, deciding to deny her any courtesy.

Beatrice was in her room, looking at the door immediately. "Ah, darling." She said with a smirk, walking forward. "Come to make the right decision, I see~"

Chester rolled his eyes. ‘Yeah, a decision I should’ve made a while ago. You need to leave,’ he snapped, folding his arms. ‘You’re no longer welcome in this palace.’

Beatrice frowned, wrapping a hand around his waist. "Oh, Chester, really?" She tutted, cupping his chin in his hands. "You'll regret this soon enough." She murmured.

Chester immediately took a step back, grabbing her wrist and pushing it away from his face. ‘Don’t touch me.’

Beatrice looked a little surprised, chuckling in amusement.

Chester glared. He pointed to the door. ‘Out. Now.’

"Relax, sweetheart, let me pack my things~" Beatrice rolled her eyes, walking away. "Always so bossy. Has Jayden seen that side of you yet?"

‘I’m not bossy,’ Chester snapped. ‘I just really hate you.’

"You love me, don't bother hiding it. No one's believing this little act. Least of all him." Beatrice said as she packed.

‘Shut up. You know I don’t love you.’
