Jayden grinned. "Your hair's almost as fluffy as mine now!" He said triumphantly.

Chester laughed. ‘Almost?’

"Almost. It still needs to poke out at the sides."

Chester reached up and played with Jayden’s hair. ‘Yours is just a bit longer than mine.’

Jayd grinned, letting him. "Just a little bit..."

Chester sat up slightly and kissed his nose, then laid back down on the bed. ‘I love you.’

"I love you too." Jayden laid down next to him.

Chester hugged him close, kissing his forehead.

Jayd let him, snuggling closer.

Chester smiled, tracing shapes on his back. ‘Wanna go kick out Beatrice now?’

Jayden nodded. "Yes please."

‘Sounds good,’ Chester said, pulling away to sit up. He fluffed down his hair.

"Hey..." Jayden complained when he unfluffed his hair.

‘I’ll let you do it later,’ Chester offered with a chuckle, straightening his clothes.

"Ugh, fine." Jayd smiled. He wanted to follow Chester, but also didn't want to be anywhere near Beatrice when she left, not wanting to hear anything else from her, but also not sure how he felt about Chester and Beatrice being alone again.
