“But I love you!” Alyssa cried, tears streaming down her face in waterfalls.
The sun was shining, but it was far from a good day.
“You can’t love me!” George shouted, his patience ran out.
Alyssa seemed to collapse on the couch, covering her face with her hands. Her blonde hair fell around her face as she sobbed.
Why was this happening, you may ask? Well, George, a tall ravenette had fallen in love with Alyssa. And what was the problem with that? Alyssa was married. It was arranged by her parents, and she had been since George had met the woman.
Now, this didn’t stop him from loving her, and apparently, it didn’t stop Alyssa from loving George.
The two had both fallen deeply in love with each other, the only barrier between a relationship together was Alyssa’s husband.
“Why don’t we just run away?” Alyssa suggested, making George look at her again.
“Huh?”
“Make our own place, away from everyone! Go against the rules, live a happy life together-” Alyssa didn’t get to finish her sentence as George stopped her from continuing to say her crazy idea.
“Alyssa, we’re not children anymore!” George retorted. -
George Maverick grew up in the U.S with two older sisters.
At the beginning of this story, George gets a notification on his phone saying that music has been banned in the U.S.
And despite this, it is just a prompt.
George is 22 in university with a small friend group.
He has gotten over a bad e.ting (a) dis.rder (o) in the past, and is still relapsing.
He has come to (mostly) love his body and himself with the help of his friends, and to take care of himself.
In his friend group at the university, he knows a girl named Alyssa.
Alyssa had an arranged marriage when she turned twenty (so as long as George had known her) by her overly religious parents.
They both fall in love with each other, although neither of them can have each other.
Will George be able to get over his feelings for Alyssa?
Will Alyssa?
Will George be able to maintain his somewhat steady mental health?
