I preffer singular books, if I were to read a series, I want it to be maximum 12 books, I like seris that are 5-7 books long, but singular books are my prefference.
Although you wish that when you're reading a really good singular book, that the adventure would keep going on. -
yea...i like them to be long but not anything like freakin 20 books...
-
a like series i love big books like 700 something pages
-
i like series cause like you said Roady the adventure can go on but not like 17 books in a series
but i like singular books too :) -
Singular. The other books in a series are never as good. They just lose the magic, somehow.

Oh I know what you mean, Bambi, I think some series tend to talk about a certain subject, and then halfway through, they either f--- it up or talk about something that has nothing to do with the main subject, or the ending is boring or unexplained.

Yeah! Like in Terry Pratchett - Nation the ending is crap. I just want it to be happy and it isn't which I hated about the book. I don't wanna be depressed by an ending in a book! Dx
I also think that sometimes they're a bit too perfect, but that kinda fits the series like in the Twilight books and some other ones. -
I don't like perfect books, but I don't like deep or depressing ones.
Like, if I wrote a book and the heroine/hero died, I'd make it that at least they accomplished what they had to do, or then what's the point of the whole series then.
