I think Darren Shan is much better, Rick Riordan is still a good author, but he's nothing compared to Darren Shan.
I bet most people that choose Rick Riordan probably haven't read Darren Shan's books. -
rick Riordan is kinda good...i mean he's a decent writer, but the real thing is the stories that he writes...it's AWESOME...i haven't ever read anything by Darren Shaw but i definitely should...

The film, "The Vampire's Assistant" was based on a series of 12 books he wrote called, "The Cirque Du Freak" series. -

It won't have a sequel? How do you know? And it is true,Steve didn't get bit at school,he got bit at Darren's house! And he didn't get bit on the head,he got bit on the neck! And they replaced Debby with Rebecca the monkey person.
But I still liked the movie. -
i know there's no sequel because...well think about it...they killed off kronose's host...Percy already made the deal that he makes in the end of the series and they skipped Nico De Anthony....all MAJOR plot points and all key for the next in the series...

heh, when I first opened this thread I thought for an instant roady was back around.
But yeah read the all the darren shaw books now, gotta say I was more impressed then I expected to be. The books are definitely less childish then the movie was.
