Well, I have to eat breakfast. I will talk to you soon.
-
May I join this lovely little contest...?
-
Yes, ethel!
-
You can just call me 'Eclipse', or 'Espie'. Those are the nicknames I'm most familiar with, anyways. :P
-
Okay, eclipse!

May I do it as well? If so, this is my entry.
Calami scowled at the Charlatan. “‘You know, everything comes at a cost,’” she quoted him. “Quoting me now, are you?” The Charlatan smiled slyly. “Meaning that you look up to me as your elder, and therefore wish to follow in my wise steps.” “Don't over-interpret things,” Calami warned, then disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
[PERSPECTIVE SWITCH]
Yugili was not a fan of starving in a cell. Lonely and imprisoned; that was the way she had been for the past decade. Initially, throughout the first year, she had hoped someone would save her - she actually thought someone would save her. But now, all she could do was hope that her pain would be ended by hunger. Her stomach ached, and even though there was a small bowl of gravy in front of her, she resisted the urge to scarf it down. Wind blew through the cracked window that had been part of a failed escape plan years before.
[ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE SWITCH]
Keenpaw sighed. Another day gone by without knowing how to glide. The sun fell lower in the sky hour after hour. Keenpaw was tired of it, tired of being harassed by his siblings for it. If one didn't know how to, one could learn how to.
But his siblings didn't quite seem to grasp that concept. “Semprésa, you're on guard duty tonight,” Garito drawled. “Don't scare the predators away with your tears, all right?”
Keenpaw was part of a race of cats who could glide with practice. The story was that a batch of different species of cats had been caught by curious lab scientists that also happened to be performing illegal operations, and they had experimented on the felines with a specific type of sugar gliders (cruel types of tests, starvation to see if anything would change with them, and a lot more). The cats and nocturnal possums fled eventually, but not before the two animals had offspring.
They were small cats with the ability to glide. It could have been much worse; I was thankful we weren't high-jumping sugar gliders. But then again, it would be great if we could all catch some sleep at night.
Hunters came for us, perhaps hired by the lab scientists. They wanted to get us back, bring us back to the Laboratory. We soon realized it wasn't safe, and we needed guards throughout the day, even when the sky turned to ebony and the moon showed itself. -

My entry -
I strode side-by-side with my dog, whom was clearly exhausted. "You okay, there, Sprite?" I asked with a concerned expression written on my face. Sprite did nothing but sag his shoulders lower, continuing to glance forward as his tongue lolled out the side of his mouth. "C'mon, Sprite." I heaved a long, tired, now frustrated sigh. "Quit fooling around. We need to get some work done around the farm." I grabbed him by his scruff, before I began dragging him back towards the direction of the apple farm.
***
"Layla!" My mother snapped as I stepped inside. "Where in carnation were you!? We needa get these apples in the farm before the storm comes wild! Ya here be got that, girl?" My mother, fires seeming to blaze inside her eyes, said as I nodded towards her solemnly. "Yes, mother," I then lowered my head. "I'll get these apples off them trees, faster than that dag nabbit storm can come!"
***
"C'mon, Sprite, faster!" I shouted to Sprite as I picked another single being apple. "We've gotta get these apples into the farm! You heard Ma, now go heard them cattle into the stables!" Sprite immediately obeyed, now springing towards the cattles, whom were grazing upon the grass nearby.
After about one hour of hard work, I noticed mist beginning to swirl around me, and rain starting to drip from the clouds.
Pretty soon, the peaceful lands turned into an absolute lightning storm.
"Sprite!" I shouted demandingly. "Get inside, now!"
He cowered for a second, before rushing towards the entrance to the house.
But, it was too late.
Right before my eyes, a swift jolt of lightning struck him, forcing him down.
"Sprite!"

I cried as I looked down at the bloody mess of my lifeless dog. Life just wouldn't be the same without him... It just wouldn't. -
Cool! I will enter both! Eclipse, what is the title? You have to have one.
-
Why do we have to have a title? Kinda seems pointless...
