Beware, it's a lot! Ignore the numbers at the beginning of poems, I had them numbered but it got all screwed up. Some of them have titles, some don't. Read some, don't read some, just DON"T COPY THEM!
14. Thou eyes entrance
Like thou sun doth shine.
Thee may steal a kiss
From lips of crimson wine.
May haps love this is
Only thee pining heart shall know.
Even as wicked death calls
No fancied heart shall feel woe.
15. Cozen hearts doth surrender
To the fie of desire.
'Twill bloom as a great splendor
Thou's love incessant fire.
16. Art thou poignant feelings but of thou’s mind?
How a congenial web of ambiance
Can go astray with the sole air of pessimism.
[For bliss must bid farewell
‘Twill not be eternal.
And what will protrude now is sorrow
Lurking evermore in thou’s mind.]
17. Thou discerns thee forbidden and bona fide love
One of purity and unclaimed indisputable devotion.
And thee approved odious partnership
One of limitation and eternal envy.
The meager lad and opulent lass
Falling into a unforeseen, yet sincere love.
And the partnership of a society-driven duo
Arranged into a single-minded, two-faced alliance.
Thou’s veritable love will be thee only one to withstand.
18. Thou’s petty grievances
Vis-Ã -vis spoiled relations
And a paltry existence.
Thee initiate must be prejudice
Amid even thee most equable persons.
How to remedy a quandary as this?
Thou would necessitate
Amenable minds and ardent hearts.
19. It hath befallen upon all
An inexorable end.
20. How doth ye set a jovial façade so hastily?
One akin to an ersatz mask
Fictitious and illusory
Misleading many astray
And initiating indications of reticence.
21. Here’s to everything
Coming done to nothing.
Here’s to me
Wishing there was something.
I’m leaving
Half way out the door.
I don’t want
To hurt anymore.
I won’t call
Even pick up the phone.
This is the last ring
The last dial tone.
I’ll fall away
From that rush.
Still I never knew
I could feel that much.
But it hurts when I fall
And you were never there to catch me.
This is the last tumble
I’ll take without you to see.
You didn’t care, so
No more chances to take.
I don’t want to hurt, so
Not another mistake.
Half-Way Good Poems ;)
22. A Journey To Something
As though to pass away,
And to be renewed again.
Monotones of black and grey,
Now bursting with crimson.
A desolate place to be,
A place holding no meaning at all.
Then to awake and see,
Your ruinous fall.
Now you are here,
Beginning an ascent.
There is nothing left to fear,
All else has already been spent.
You are arising on the journey,
That will lead you back home.
From the place you were to be,
To the place you will ever roam.
23. I LOVE YOU
Imagine a life full of bliss.
Lovers stroll, arm in arm
Oppressors departed.
Violets and roses bloom,
Enveloping passerby in their poignant scent.
Yet only few find this covert place.
Only finding it,
Until they have discovered true love.
24. Lessons in Our Lives
One life to live.
The misfortunes and blessings,
All is what you or I had to give.
Ascents, and tumbles we take.
We see our strengths and weaknesses,
And along the way, learn from our mistakes.
The misgivings, and joy we will feel.
All these feelings we succumb to,
And those we have yet to deal.
Friendships, relationships that fall.
Lovers we'll lose and friends that'll pass
But still, you'll remember them all.
All, everything will irrevocably ensue.
Even the roughest spots we will live through,
And to ride along is all we have to do.
25. Face Yourself
Peer into there,
Face the shattered mirror.
Still pretending not to care,
About cracked memories staring back at you.
26. Open Blind Eyes
Humans are blind beings.
Sightless to the obvious,
To the true feelings.
Their pride,
Makes them blind to their own faults.
Their prejudice,
Makes them sightless to the wrong assaults.
With two eyes they see the truth,
Still they turn the other cheek,
Acting naïve of the proof.
This self-worth,
Makes them blind to accept their own actions.
This partisan,
Makes them sightless to feeling their own reactions.
Humans are lost beings.
Blind, they turn to a road that beckons,
When they should’ve listened to their true feelings.
27. Tell Me Truth From Lies
You’re like a bad memory,
I can’t help but think about.
Because in the darkness I can’t see,
All the lies you were telling me.
Stand out here in the rain,
My tears will blend in.
Tell me the truth, take away the pain,
Tell me I wasn’t foolish, not to be ashamed.
Whisper me you love me, I’m not a fool
To have fallen for you and you let me fall.
You’re black to white, warm to cool,
Even when you love me, you’re cruel.
This is the sun before the burn,
The good-bye before the tears.
I want you gone, I want you to return.
My love I want you to earn.
28. Deep in Depression *
Look around you,
At the blank canvas you’ve created.
You had it painted in wonderful hues…
Now disconnected, out of touch,
Lost to the desperate waters of despair.
The icy cling of depression has you in its clutch.
Vacant eyes, hollow smiles,
Facing the world with a vacant stare
As you travel down a gloomy way that doesn’t end for miles.
What’s to come of this?
A silver lining, a lesson learned, a moral in the story?
No one knows, except for those have gone amiss.
29. A Game You Play
Am I just a piece you push on your board-game?
I see you cheat, and lie,
Yet I'm the one who gets blamed.
Time after time, it's no longer a surprise.
Those false truths you told me,
In the darkness of night.
I was stupid not to see,
Even at dawn in the light.
Now I'm caught in an endless contest.
Trying to come out on top of fathomless lies.
Loser, that's me, so now I must prove myself to be the best,
And say my good-byes.
Only now do I realize,
That I was being used by the worst.
A friend I relied on, who was never there to hear my cries.
30. Under the ceiling,
Above the floors.
Up the stairs,
Behind the doors.
Do you hear it?
The silent whisper?
It is a secret,
And it’s getting louder.
It wants to be heard
To all those who don’t know.
Normal noises forming words
It follows you wherever you go.
Between the walls
Below the lights.
It’s yelling its eerie call
In the dead of night.
Listen, it wants you to see
The painful truth.
Look, it wants you to perceive
The secrets of it’s Ruth.
31. Bad examples tainting our eyes and ear
Children getting arrested in their early years.
Fake covering voices and faces,
You can't trust anybody based on their races.
Everything labeled with a price tag,
Buying useless items just to brag.
Now I know these times are crazy,
But don't give up on me, baby.
We've come through this far,
And we've lived through the worst with our scars.
Just keep going, these times are insane
But this will fade, even the worst pain.
32. A single shining star
Outshined by a million more.
Pink seashells on a sand bar
Remote from the recognition of shore.
A single face in the crowd
Mixed in with billions of others.
One timid voice, crying loud
Yet another call to be smothered.
Everything is a single thread
A stitch in a connected cover.
Except for one who stood out instead
One strong little strand to be discovered.
33. Buildings grown up from the ground
a seed into the stem of metal
and the strong steel of petals.
Plants that never change, a solid growth
no sway in the breeze
or death of winter freeze.
Flora that pays no heed to Mother Nature’s orders
photosynthesis gone
toxic gases that rage on.
34. Falling fast
Everything rushing by.
Who knows how to make it last
And when to say that last good-bye.
The pain of today
And imagined horrors of tomorrow.
Even though its -
grr, it didn't post all of them! >:P
bad, stay
This will all pass; your pain and sorrows.
Fake a smile
Although things are falling apart.
Someone else is walking that mile
So along their travel, show them one good heart.
It’s a river that passes swiftly
Try as you might, you can’t hold on to it all.
Finish today as though tomorrow’s deadly
And you’ll see that the best memories can be small.
35. Worship your enemies
Find fault in your friends
Don’t be fooled with lies at your end.
Challenge authority
Go with the flow
Make a stand, yet enjoy and take it slow.
Open your eyes to everything
Shut away the troubles
To new things, be approachable.
Love your other half
Be friendly with the others
Life’s to short to make enemies with another.
36. A is for Appreciate
take time to do that now.
B is for Believing
look to the stars and wish.
C is for Curiosity
always ask “why†and “how.â€
D is for Deciding
make a choice to cherish.
E is for Empathy
give a frown, but always a smile.
F is for Finesse
everything needs some shine
G is for Giving
take time to go the extra mile
H is for Honor
live up to yours or mine.
37. There is something
way down deep
Is rising up
from an undisturbed sleep.
Its speaks who I am
even when it's lies
No matter how much I cover it up
It never dies.
Everywhere my travels go
it leaves its path.
Everyone I met along my way
They, as well, feel its wrath.
People it hurts
Memories it’s destroying.
This is me, I’m sure
Yet again, I could be lying.
38. Raining, raining
Never changing.
Hushed drops
Downing faces.
A trembling hand
For the tears it chases.
Lightning, lightning
Always striking.
Soundless blows
Downing faces.
A mindless heart
For the souls it encases.
39. I’ve done the best I can
To make you understand.
Don’t say I don’t
Because I know it’s scary.
To realize the one you love
Is no longer caring.
This is the best I can do
To patch together me and you.
Don’t say it is
When this is tearing, breaking.
And never say it was
That your love was mine for the taking.
I always gave you my best
But you always wondered ‘Where’s the rest?’
Here am I, there are you
Don’t look around for a missing piece of me.
Can’t you just love the good and bad?
I guess not, so I’ll take the un-perfect me and leave. -
wow....these are great!! :)
-
:D Thanks!
-
I didn't read all of them, but I love how some of them are written in an old Shakesperean style! They're really nice. :)
