  Prologue shadow
  Diane's feet slid in the snow as she ran to escape her pursuer she came to the hilltop ski resort she tried the door it was locked Diane looked to see what was chasing her she could see a shadow of a man standing at the top of the hill Diane ran to the ski lift in a nearby shed she found a snow board an employee had left the keys to the ski lift in the machine Diane turned the key just as the shadow got to the bottom of the hill Diane hopped on she knew the shadow had seen her because the ski lift's lights came on she saw the man walk over to the ski lift reach behind his back and pull something out just before he went out of her line of sight she saw him get on the lift she breathed a sigh of relief final I can rest but what did he pull from behind his back she pondered what it could as she arrived at the top of the mountain she hid in the shadows waiting for the man to reach the top she found a backpack with a flashlight in it she took the flashlight as she waited she thought first Jen now her the ski lift stopped the lights went out Diane stood up she felt someone tap her shoulder slowly she turned around gripping the flashlight in her hand when she fully turned she shined the flashlight in the person behind her eyes she saw a familiar face it was shadow what are you doing out here this late asked Diane I snowboard in the dark what are you doing says shadow someone was chasing me answered Diane come with me I Know where you can hide replied shadow follow me you'll need that snowboard follow me well be there in no time Diane follows shadow to his cabin go warm yourself by the fireplace said shadow do you know who was chasing you shadow asked no cule all I heard was music answered Diane I now who was chasing you shadow replies who was chasing me answered Diane the music Diane mentioned starts playing shadow says one word me Diane ran in the opposite direction she went into a room and barricade the door this must have been Jen's room Diane grabs Jen's jumpsuit she held her breathe has shadows footsteps passed by Diane would have to risk giving her location away to escape Diane froze when shadow spoke come out come out wherever you are Diane my patience is running thin you wouldn't want to see my other half Diane slowly opened the door and a shoe down the stairs Diane watched as shadow ran down the stairs Diane made a run for the door it was locked Diane grabbed the snowboard she used and smashed the window she heard a chain being dragged and the scraping of fingernails on wood and Shadow's voice Diane I'm going to get you Diane heard shadows footsteps has he came up the stairs Diane quickly ran to the door and closed it and locked it then went back to the window she tossed the board out Diane was halfway out when the door broke she felt someone grab her foot she kicked at the hand scraping her gut on broken glass she made her way outside shadow crashed though the front door Diane stood up and tried to escape shadow whipped the chain around her foot and yanked causing her to face plant in the snow he walked over lifting her off the ground his mask and muzzle were pulled down her whispered sorry does it hurt looks like it does Diane begged him not to kill her he spoke again any last request Diane answered just one Diane did the best she could and leaned forward and planted a long slow kiss she felt his grip loosen and soon he dropped her and fell to his knees then face planting in the snow Diane tried to walk on her injured foot she did her best to strap her feet in and she started to snowboard down the mountain she threw a lit match into the cabin she say shadow get up and start after her she made it to a road and tried to get a car to stop behind her she heard a snowmobile and Shadow's manic like laugh Diane finally got a car to stop and told them to that someone was chasing her she quickly got in and they took off Diane look over and qasped for shadow was driving right next to them shadow drove up a cerved slope sending him flying right over them Diane saw the snowmobile crash but she didn't see a body she heard a thud above them Shadow's chain hung down in the view of the windshield slowly it recedied then swang down and smashs the windshield the man whispers I have a baseball bat in the back seat get Diane grabs the bat shadows head pops into view Diane swings the bat and trys to hit shadow he doged it and threw his knife at the guy's head the car spins out of control Diane flys out the broken windshield cutting her knee she flew into a snowbank shadow walked up to the over turned car reached in and pulls out his knife out of the guys head and walks over to Diane he stops Diane crys in terror a gun shot rings though the air shadow drops his knife turns around slowly Diane can see who shot shadow it was Jen shadow dropped his chain and slowly walked towards Jen she fires again shadow doges it he picks up a fallen tree branch and drags it has he continued towards Jen throws the gun at sha
  DDow doges it he brings the branch and impales Jen on it Jen slumps over shadow drops the branch Diane began to feel tired her vision began to fade the last thing she heard was sorry does it hurt looks like it does she awakes with a nurse taking her vitals where am I Diane asked the nurse why your in Colorado springs hospital you and three friends were in a car accident you were the only one that made it how many bodies were asked Diane three of them oddly the driver had a knife wound the other girl impaled on a tree branch a pair of bootprints heading away from the car and a
  gun was found at the scene and this a tape recorder and a speaker answered the nurse has anyone listened to it asked Diane no not yet replied the nurse hand it here please Diane plays it all that can be heard is shadows manic like laugh and him saying until we meet again my sweet then his music started to play the nurse left the room and a doctor entered the room how are you feeling today he asked fine answered Diane let's see if we can change that replied the doctor Diane looks up from the tape recorder as shadow dressed in a doctor coat brings out his knife the tape plays louder shadow attacks
