Mama Roach NewbieThe weight of everyone’s eyes were upon Sin. She looked into all of them. Some were full of anger, some with disbelief, and others were still trying to process what was happening. One stood out from the crowd though, her mother.
She normally could hold all of Hell’s rage in her, and even her eyes wouldn’t show it. But her gift was failing her now. Her face remained stone cold, but her eyes showed it all. They were deep, empty, and unforgiving. Her mother turned away from her as the warrior’s hauled her up to the stage…
Sin awoke from the nightmare, shaking and soaked in sweat. Not again sighed Sin as she opened her window. The cool air of the autumn night warned her of the upcoming, chilling winter. She stuck her head out the window, and the cold wind gently blew across her damp, warm face cooling and chilling the remains of her nightmare.
She sighed and wondered why she was being haunted by this reoccurring dream. It puzzled her, normally her dreams usually told of a event soon to come, or were just pointless and disregarded the minute she awoke. It definitely wasn’t pointless, or it wouldn’t be played over and over again in her mind night after night.
So that meant something like that would soon happen to her. But what could she do that would hurt so many people, including her mother?
A movement to her right snapped her out of her thoughts. She turned towards the noise and stared at the unwelcomed visitor.
I kinda got stuck at this point, but uh, tell me how it is so far I guess.
(It's me, Vamp, btw.) -
Sin squinted in the dark to make out the strangers features. He was tall, a good six feet at least, athletic built, brown or black hair, she couldn’t tell in all the darkness, and had strange, glowing, orange eyes.
“Hello, Sin.†He said coolly with a smirk, and began walking closer to the window.
“I wouldn’t come much closer if I were you,†Sin replied.
The stranger stopped for a moment and then said, “But I do believe it would be more polite for me to introduce myself up close.â€
Sin laughed silently. “I suppose so.â€
When the stranger was eye level with Sin, he opened his mouth to explain himself. Instead he shut his mouth and looked deeply into Sin’s eyes. His glowing orange eyes began to shine lightly, but it became more intense. Soon everything was just a blinding white and a faint ringing sound began to make itself know. The intense light and ringing noise became too much for Sin to bear. She shut her eyes and covered her ears. It didn’t help much. The light brightened and the ringing increased. Sin’s mind decided she had suffered enough and she passed out. -

Thankies guys. :D
Slowly Sin’s senses came back to her. She sat up, slowly, to check herself and see if any damage had been done. Nothing appeared wrong to Sin. Except the fact that her nightgown had been replaced with a red shirt with a golden pentagram and ripped black jeans. Sin began to wonder of this, when did she change her clothes? She couldn’t remember anything except a bright light and ear-splitting ringing. Sin had begun to dismiss it all as a crazy dream of hers when she noticed another change.
The room had changed. Her small, cozy, and warm bedroom had transformed into a kind of hut she guessed. The walls and room were made of bamboo with leaves and grass covering cracks where the walls didn’t completely cover. The entrance door, which wasn’t much of one at all, was more like a giant piece of board laid across the opening for some privacy.
What a charming little place, Sin thought to herself sarcastically.
The “door†opened and in walked the stranger that had brought her to this strange place. He looked the same, only his hair and clothes were soaked from the rain. Noticing how drenched he was, any doubt Sin had about leaking in the “house†was abandoned.
The guy looked at her, half puzzled and half amused. “Didn’t expect you to be up so soon,†he said. “Most people are asleep for a day or two at least.â€
“So, I take it I’m not the first to be snatched from my own home then,†Sin replied.
“Nope, you sure aren’t. And snatched from your home my dear? No, I’ve brought you home.â€
Sin waved off the strange remark. “I don’t believe I’ve had the pleasure of being formally introduced to you yet, sir.†Sin said with an edge to her voice.
The stranger raised an eyebrow. “Why yes of course. I’m Aiden, son of Death.â€
“Death?â€
“You know, the four horseman that come to signal the apocalypse? My father is Death, the one that rides the pale horse.â€
“Oh, okay. And of course you already know my name, and my dad is a congressman for the House of Representatives. But I’m sure you already knew that.†Sin said highly annoyed at all the strange answers she was getting from this boy.
He laughed. “Actually, no. You father is Malphas, a much more respectable being than you earth father.â€
Sin let out an aggravating sigh. Would she ever get any straight answers from Aiden? -
Mama Roach Newbie“Who is Malphas?†she said.
Aiden stood there and gaped at her like she had just grown another head.
“Well… I kind of just figured you knew…†he said.
“Knew what?†Sin screamed.
“I guess your mother didn’t tell you.â€
“What would my mother have to tell me?â€
Aiden refused to answer her question. When he finally decided to speak again another person came into the mix. He had white hair, grey eyes, and was a little on the heavy side.
“Are we going or not?†the new boy grumbled at Aiden.
Aiden sighed, “We’re having some problems right now. Be there bit Gluttony.â€
“My name isn’t Gluttony, damn it!†the boy shouted and stormed off the scene.
Sin had watched the whole thing with amusement. “And that was…?â€
“William. Son of Famine, another one of the four horseman.â€
“If he was the son of Famine shouldn’t he be…†Sin trailed off, hoping Aiden would get what she implied.
“You mean deathly skinny?â€
“Err, yeah.â€
“Well, Gluttony is somehow intertwined with Famine, and Prince Fatass over there got a healthy dose of it in his genes.†Aiden said with a grin.
Sin laughed. “So what were you talking about earlier. Malphas I believe was the name.â€
The grin of Aiden’s face disappeared suddenly. “See, about that. Now isn’t the time. I’ve seemed to have brought you here a little too early. For one thing, your mother hasn’t told you anything about this place. And are you eighteen yet?â€
“No, I am not.â€
“Then that’s reason number two. You don’t really have a place here until after your eighteenth birthday.
“Wow, another reason to dread my eighteenth birthday.â€
Aiden smiled, “It doesn’t matter how much you dread it, the day will still come. October 31 I believe is the date?â€
“Yes.â€
“Until then, which will be in a few months, train hard. Become a bit more sophisticated with your skill of the blade.â€
“Um, alright then,†Sin said, unsure of how to properly reply.
“Oh and before I send you off, here, take this.†Aiden dropped something into Sin’s hand. “Until your birthday, my dear, we must part.â€
Sin opened her mouth to say something sarcastic about the last remark, but her eyes had fallen into Aiden’s glowing orange ones. The glowing turned to shining and the same torture that had brought Sin to this place played over again. She lasted through the pain a bit longer then her first trip, but she still gave way to the brightness and the noise and passed out.
