poetry is pretty much a life saver when I'm depressed, what about you? -
I love poetry too, I write short stories, poems, novels, and songs.
I have a Write your short stories thread filled with all my short stories, and a thread called poem I write all my poetry there. I write all my song lyrics in the music thread.
But poetry has always been good when I wan to express my feelings, it's like a memory being saved that you can go back and read to remember how you felt. -

yeppers, mostly glum depressing though, basically like the ones up there cept' for time did not exist and yours.
mostly i write story's though.

me too i love to write poetry and stories. Because it's like words coming to life in your hands, creating a whole other world. But when i'm sad i write a lot of poems that are depressing but those kind of poems are good! I'm glad we have something in common, i thought people would think i was weird to love writing and reading.
