Willowstar padded out of her den, and breathed in the fresh scent of newleaf. The trees had small green buds on them, they were going to be leaves, waiting to burst out and bloom to their full green glory. The grass on the ground of the Forestclan camp was fresh and bright. Willowstar enjoyed the wonders of newleaf. She was interrupted by her deputy, Mossheart, who had come to tell her that he was going to organise a dawn patrol.
