Teaser idea:
The past. The present. The broken future.
There was a time when people believed the future would hold spectacular things. Flying cars, robots, laser eye enhancements. However, that's definitely not the case here. The crashed future is what Sullivan loves. He's never known about technology, only about the wind and the trees and the tribe he's lived with. He was happy. At least, it was like that until Charlington showed up. Strange things started to take over the tribe, and pretty soon they had no choice but to work together. All that's left is to walk around the world to try to find something that will fix this mess. Only, they don't know how much walking that will take. And what unexpected things await them... -
hnnn Or maybe something along the lines of this?
There was a time when people believed the future would hold spectacular things. Flying cars, robots, laser eye enhancements. However, the world in 3202 is far from that ideal. Years before, humanity did reach that point- We, as the human race, had built ourselves to the brink of technological success in every way possible.
And with those successes came war- War that killed millions and destroyed cities. A war that lasted for one hundred years, and only ended when it seemed that the human race had destroyed itself completely.
However, little pockets of humans still existed. We begin to build up a population again, believing that repeating the old ways would lead to the same result. We divided into tribes, almost a hundred in total, and lived without anything other than what we needed. In time, the old ways were forgotten. The earth healed, and though it was now much flatter, she had taken back her land- There was hardly a trace of what society had once been. Everything was right again.
Only now, though, a virus is spreading through the tribes, killing many. And the cure may be buried in the mind of a boy who doesn't even remember his own name. -
yes that! Something like that yessss
