It was autumn the day of the accident October the 23rd to be precise, a young girl about the age of fourteen had been walking down the streets of white lilly village
Until she found her self cornered by four giant thugs if they were normal thugs she coukd have taken two down and evaded the others but they weren't they were trained fighters and spy's .
Yet the girl showed no fear , " give us the codex " one of them growled at her
" so you assume I have the codex " the girl supplied an air of mischeif surrounded her tone .
" Don't play games with us little girl " the biggest thug warned menacingly
" or what " the girl said .
" oh trust me you don't want to find out " the third thug said pushing her against a wall the villagers had fled to hide not trying to help the girl
" and I would trust four random strangers becuase " she asked
" give us the codex brat and maybe you're clan will go unharmed " the leader of the thugs reasoned
" onky an idiot would fall for that " the young girl said after threating her to get the codex didn't work they moved into another plan beating her to get it
They discovered she didn't have it and left her body lying there
Another girl jumoed from a building after the thugs had left she held her dying partner in her arms trying to save her but it failed
The other girl held the first price of the codex and the memories of her partners death and how it could of been changed if she was able to help
I still hold that regret with me to this very day .

Everyone remebered that accident and the young girl onyx was mourned and buried in the most honourable place that didn't make it better though and it stilll hurt that she was gone
I tried my best to work with the new partners but they would always request a relocation until my newest partner came her name was topaz we were paired becuase I was Amber and she was topaz
Strange if you ask me
