Monday Nights
Monday nights are all the same.
Cussing and screaming but, no one will take the blame.
It didn’t always seem like this.
Before the name calling they used to call me sis.
When I look back into the past,
Everyone of us was having a blast.
Before all the cutting, the lying, and the threats,
We would all watch NASCAR and place down our bets.
When I was a baby,
The answer to everything was maybe.
But with the fighting between me and dad,
My life has been so so sad.
Well I guess my time is up for me.
On Monday nights I’m sure you know where I’ll be.
Until next time in this short sad letter.
May next time, my life will be a whole lot better! -
