Midnight. Shadows cast spooky images on the forest floor. I had decided to run away from home. Now I know it was a bad idea to leave at the dead of night. The moon is bright, a full, white, moon. In the distance, I hear wolves howling. My home is right next to a dark forest. It is cold, dark, and dangerous. But it has a route to a better place. But I didn't expect the forest to be so eerie and big. Suddenly, dark clouds cover the moon completely. It is pitch dark. The wolves howl louder. It seems like the sound is getting closer. Every rustle, even if it's just wind, spooks me. I clutch my backpack tighter. I walk on. The clouds don't move. They stay there, completely covering the moon. I take my backpack off and pull out a flashlight. I shine it everywhere. Nothing. The wolves are howling louder than ever, and I also hear some growling. More rustles. The sound of wolves aren't distant now. I can hear them. I can also feel chills down my back, as I walk on...

"Yes," said a familiar voice. My eyes widened as I met eyes with the speaker. Zack stepped forward, now somehow dressed in black. His grey eyes narrowed as I tried to back away. He put his hand out and the area behind me blew up. He snapped his fingers and a rope bound my wrists together. This couldn't be happening... -

Then the doorbell rang. Someone was outside. "Probably the mailman," I thought. Then a giant crash broke a hole in our door. Me and Alex froze. Then we started freaking out and went upstairs and woke up Mom and Dad. But when we came downstairs together there was nothing and the hole in the door was gone...

We both went downstairs. Alex froze just as I did. Then he started freaking out, too. We both ran upstairs and woke up Mom and Dad. But when we all came downstairs again, the holes in the door were gone...
