I usually dedicate my stories to people who give me the idea.

Depends. If someone helped me with the idea, to them. If no one helped me, the person who I know likes stories like that. If someone beta read it, to them. Sometimes, to the person I like for no reason

Anyone who helped me make that story possible- The advisor, the inspirer, etc.

Well when I write in my green notebook I dedicate it to ICEE ;)

Anybody that has been influential at the time I wrote it or if (this might be a little weird but whatever) the mood of the story reminds me of someone. Usually I have to wait until I finish the stories so more than half of them don't have a dedication
