It wasn't always like this. None of us even remember when the game began. We know how it began. For me, just like every other player, it'd been an average Saturday. I'd been playing some stupid role-playing game with my gear, a virtual reality game. It was a newer system, but not uncommon. I'd been wasting my weekend, killing monsters like normal.
When the message had shown up.
"Welcome, little lamb. Ready to begin?"
The message had freaked me out, but I'd clicked exit. I'd thought I'd seen the last of it, until it showed up again, an hour later.
"Welcome, little lamb. Shall we begin?"
I'd been disturbed, and exited out of it. I'd been wondering if there was a way to report it, when it appeared again.
"Little lamb. Our game has begun."
The screen had gone black. I thought my gear had glitched. I'd screamed, though I knew I was silent.
Then it rebooted, and a beautiful world had unfolded in front of me. The Game of Sheep, it said.
I just wanted my gear off by that point. I tried the emergency exit codes. Nothing.
The game suddenly had another pop-up.
"You are player 1! Welcome, Ace."
That had been two years ago. Back then I was Nadia, Nadia Blanc. Today I was Ace, the girl who'd trapped millions. It's my fault all these people are stuck here in this world with me. They don't know it yet, but once they find out, I'm dead.
The Knight, in all his glory. Even he'd turn against me.
I'm terrified. I've hidden myself as far away from other players as possible. The game was right. I am a lamb.
The time is coming for my slaughter. -
Sheep.
The players are looking for the sheep. The lamb, specifically. Whatever that means.
Andru didn't know, nor care. The Margay Knight, as he was called, was much more interested in perfecting his sword techniques then actually playing the game.
The Sheep?
Who was this mysterious sheep?
Tatiana didn't have the time to think about it. Collecting magical items was her priority. The Dead Cleric, they called her. She ghosted her way through levels, avoiding other players with ease. Not that anyone wanted to encounter her. She played dirty, using magic, which was only accessible through items in the game. She literally hovered above the ground, which reinforced the 'Dead' part of her name.
The mysterious lamb.
Kyle didn't bother wandering who she was. The Wolf Spade was too busy competing with his oblivious rival, The Margay Knight. He trained night and day in hopes of one day winning a fight against this legend. He knew with conviction he could do it.
Who was this lamb?
It seemed only the Blind Archer cared. He wanted to find this mysterious player, who'd separated him from his little sister. He wanted revenge, more than he wanted to reach the next level. -
this sound really cool actually. .0. are you writing a book about this? i do hope so.

Character Info:
Margay Knight- Andru Thomasson. In real life he's a 16 year old gamer who's spent the majority of his life away from others. Dark hair and blue eyes, He's far from unattractive. In the game he's as scrawny as his is in real life. Short too. His hair is black instead of Dark brown, and his eyes are red. He wears black armor with a cat head resembling helmet that still manages to look dark and intimidating. Uses a sword and shield, his sword is called X-Caliber, but he just refers to it as X. Friendly toward everyone he encounters, but doesn't go out of his way to make friends. Gentle natured in general, but knows his way around a battle field.
Wolf Spade- Kyle Bennett. In real life he's a spoiled rich kid with long blonde hair and icy blue eyes. He's pale and sickly, with an illness that doesn't let him go outside. In the game he becomes the Wolf Spade, a man with long silver hair and purple eyes who looks and plays the part of a roguish thief. Finds other people's distress amusing, and is always flaunting his status of 'Demon', a quest title that only three people ever obtained(Kyle, Andru, Nadia). Considers Andru his rival even though Andru doesn't even know who he is. Uses a chain scythe called Clarent, which he obtained in a quest named 'Traitors Revenge'. Very much a traitor, will turn on others in a second if it benefits him. -
Dead Cleric- Tatiana Whittington. In real life she's a bubbly and friendly red head who was always ready to help friends. But because of the game, two years into it she's become cold and an utter b----. Snowy white hair and milky green eyes, her skin retains a greenish hue that makes her look dead. She wears cleric styled clothes and carries a wand called Montblanc.
Ace- Nadia Blanco. She once was a sensitive brunette who wanted nothing more than to play the newest video game, now she's a broken shell of a human being. Not much is known about her. -
My first life was so boring, just forget I mentioned it (Yui Yuujiro/ Fading Angel)
And my second seemed to let me do all of the things my first life didn't (Andru Thomasson/ Margay Knight)
Third life was a hateful man, all poison to the bones (Skye Curtiss/ Sky Sentinel)
In my fourth I played piano but just didn't have the eyes to read the notes (Alexander Ariadna/ Blind Archer)
In my fifth life I supported girls, of course that wasn't all (Frederick Valm/ Owl Dancer)
My sixth life was corrupted, though I guess it was a little fun (Tatiana Whittington/Dead Cleric)
Seventh life I cried so much and all I did was mourn (Ginji Yuujiro/ Shadow Seraphim)
In my eighth life was so rich I could of bought the world and everything (Kyle Bennett/ Wolf Spade)
By nine I drew some manga but the deadlines left me dead (Hailey Grant/ Scream Seeker)
My tenth life was a teacher, as a pedo, f---ed the work part time (Varia Briggs/ Crystal King)
Next life, oh eleven, I try to forget. Never could describe how awful..Oh I'm terrified to think-(Nadia Blanco/ Ace)
