We are sheep.
Most of us, anyway. They beat us and cut us down until all we could do was cry out for help from our brothers on the ground beside us. Eventually our lungs gave up and we lay reaching, reaching for anything to help. And that's what they did, at least in their eyes. They gave aid to the weak and turned us into the Machine, loyal only to them.
We used to have spirit, but they taught us it was wrong to fight back. The few who saw the trap were executed in public and pronounced insane. And we accepted, swallowed their ideals and beliefs. All of their lies. We were everything they wanted us to be.
You don't realize how hard it was to send this back to a time when it could help. This book will be sold as fiction because no one in your time could possibly imagine all of this is real. If you think this is just some book, you might find it enjoyable and applaude my imagination. Or you might think I'm just some paranoid hobo who got ahold of a pen.
If you believe that, put this book down and walk away. Don't waste my time when there's so much at stake. Go home and tell your friends about the eccentric book you found at the cornerstore today. Ignore the voice in your head telling you I'm right. Ignore the signs over the next couple of years as your world turns into mine. And forget. About me, these symbols on paper, and live your life. Forget everything they want you to and concern yourself with who's-who and what diet you should try. Because they will take care of you. Just graze along in your feild of mind-numbing gluttony turning you into sheep.
And forget about the wolves. -
