You've made my day,
You've made my night.
You've given me happiness
And fright.
You made me laugh
And made me cry,
And told me I'm the reason
Why.
You've said that "I love you,"
There was no lack.
And I reciprocated
Your love back.
You've made me feel the
Happiest ever,
And I cried with joy
When you said "forever."
I've told you my secrets
And you've told me yours.
Each of us opening
Our heart's doors.
We trusted each other
Like no one on earth,
Never once needing to prove
Our worth.
We've had our moments
When we didn't agree.
Turns out the problem was always
"Me."
We blamed each other
For our ropes' ends,
Realizing too late it's what made us
Friends.
But we stuck with each other
Through thick and thin.
Thinking of what we
Could have been.
We've tried planning meetings
And had thoughts about,
Wondering why it
Never worked out.
Other girls came along,
Temptation was there.
You fell for their trap,
Got caught in their snare.
You flirted your ass off,
So did they.
And left me wondering
Why our love went away.
Even though it hurt,
I'd forgive you "once again."
Then the cycle would repeat and I'd
Die a bit more within.
But even with all the shit
That you've put me through,
The only one I've ever loved
Is you. -
