Thread Topic: My creativity has been aimed lately at my newest story

Discord rules the land, and the sons of time are at war, whether they know it or not.
The youngest Prince is being twisted into a tool for the puppeteer of hell, and the eldest which will have to face that which she spent her whole life for fleeing.
And as if that isn't enough, an alien technology has gotten lose, and nothing can stand in it's way. -

Sounds a lot like something I'd definitely read.

Prologue of Eli'bye
Fleeing across the desert was easy enough. Avoiding the land mines, however, required all of his concentration. Luckily humans always worked with a pattern, and he soon determined the safest path.
Hearing the growling close behind, he sped up, feet almost flying over the landscape. He pulled his cloak closer to him as another sandstorm whipped up.
He began to lose his bearings again, and, cursing, threw open his mind again, reaching out to his surroundings. The dogs had been stupid, and ran straight for one of the mines. Without them to worry about, he slowed, then stopped as he reached the village. Sighing, he let down his hood, brushing his dark hair off his sweat and dust covered face. -

So good, continue
-
I'd continue but I'm scared if I type it up here I'll become uninterested with my plot.
Kare'ta the Zodiacal Witch.
Kero the only male Nymph.
Solenor the Jupitorian.
Eli the Time of Dying. -
I'll just type up random things now, probably none of them will actually go into the story, but I need to practice each of the characters.
Kare'ta stared at Eli as he sat at the bar, talking quietly to a man dressed gaudily in purples and silver. She wished she had hearing like an Elf. Of course, then she remembered Virgo. She pulled the card out of her sleeve, and whispered the words to summon the spirit. Virgo materialized beside her, the pink and gold spirit shimmering.
"I need your hearing."Kare muttered. The spirit disappeared, and Kare'ta turned her head slightly in Eli's direction.
"...but if that fails, I want you out of there, do you understand?" Eli said, his voice hushed.
"Of course I understand. I'm not stupid." The man muttered, insulted.
"Sometimes I wonder, Solenor." Eli smirked.
Solenor stood up abruptly, and turned, leaving the tavern, insult clear on his face.
Eli laughed as he left, his voice mocking. It chilled Kare to the bone. She hated that kid.
