i run up the hill as fast as i can, looking for my friend Nubes, who is probably herding. i finally reach the herd and see that Nubes herded the animals back to the farm. i walk up to him. "hey Nubes." i say with a friendly smile. He turns around and says a quick "hey", and i see that he feels a bit sad. "what's wrong?" i ask. He looks at the top of the hill. i accidently led the herd to the ground of the Centaurs, they took a goat. i try to give him a hug but he quickly pushes me away. "avis!? he yells. i laugh. "so are you allmost done?" i ask. "yes, i only have to bring the animals back to the stables." "ok!" i reply. i wait a while and Nubes soon is done. he walks out of the stables and sits down, tired. i walk towards him and grab his arm, i pull him back on his feet, and towards town. he sighs. "where are you taking me?" "to my house!" "why?" he asks. "you'll see!"

River padded soundlessly through the trees, Amberlight by her side. She loved escaping into the woods. Sure, her tiny town was in the middle if the woods, but she loved just being out here by herself, or with Amberlight.

I let him go at my doorstep. "Wait a second." I say. I go inside for a few seconds. Then i come out with a cute small chick. "Look!" Nubes stares at the chick. "How did you get one?" "Remember my birthday party yesterday?" "You left early, but after you left, the shopkeeper came and gave us one of her chicks as a present." "That's awesome." "I allways wanted one of those." "Those things are woth so much when food is scarse." I look him in the yes with an angry face. "Things?" "S-sorry!" "I meant animals..." "Well ok than." We suddenly heard a noise. We looked up to the sky and saw soldiers on their birds and they were landing in our little village. Nobody was outside, besides us, so they walked up to us. One soldier stepped towards Nubes(bring the son of the mayor)" "Is your father home?" He said. "N-no sir." Nubes gulped, because he was lying. "When is the big harvest?" "Every day you lazy farmers aren't harvesting, we will take more food." Me and Nubes look at each other nervously. "We will return tomorrow." The soldier said, as he climed onto his bird again, and he flied away. Nubes looks at me panicy. "The harvest isn't even ready yet!" He yells. I shake him. "Relax!" "I'm sure it will be allright." "Yes, but if they take all of the harvest we will have allmost no food for a year!"

By the way, all the kingdoms have cities and villages of course, but this is what i imagine the landscapes look like:
Fire: a landscape with much mountains and vulcano's, and canyons.
Water: pretty much plains with a few trees and bushes, but LOTS of lakes and rivers.
Nature: forest area
Sky: of course on the islands in the sky, lots of hills with trees, grass and flowers. Very fertile ground for farming as well. With a few small forests spread over the islands.
Lighting: kind of a mix between the fire kingdom and water kingdom landscapes. High mountains with canyons( but without volcano's), and plains in the valleys.
Earth: deserted landscapes
Dark: mountains with endless blizzard, because of the blizzard, you allmost can't see the sun, making the kingdom dark. -
I heard soldiers marching toward our town. I gasped and hesitated, unsure if whether to flee further into the forest or back toward our town to help. The sound of the soldiers laughing in raucous tones made my decision, and I streaked back to the village, conversing quickly with Amberlight.
"They've found our village, finally. Hide, stay away from the soldiers. I'll whistle if I need you." She growled in reply and broke away from me to take shelter behind a log. I random faster.
