Felipe Calderon, currently president of Mexico though we're going to kick his stupid ass out in a short while, says that before he retires he wants to chance the name of the country. He wants to change it to "Mexico", so that it would be that instead of "United States of Mexico." ((Estados Unidos de Mexico))

It's not really this that upsets me though. Shouldn't he spend his last times in office trying to do some actual GOOD things, not wasting his time with small things like this? I mean honestly, dude, help your country. Focus on that before you go on with those pendejadas of yours.

I sorreh... Stupidity does not stay in one place. It spreads and infects people and unfortunately, it's often people with a lot of influence.

One more thing to add to the topic, that this would cause an even worse economic crisis to Mexico. Think about it. Mexico would have to begin updating just about everything, since all legal documents and money and just about everything has "Estados Unidos Mexicana" on it. If they change the name, of course they must take all the money to change it so it would just be "Mexico".
