In October, how is the weather in Illinois? Is it hot? Cloudy? Sunny? Windy? etc. I need it for a book I'm writing. HELP PLZ.

Well, I live in Ohio. So I can't really help you. But here, it's kinda windy and some days it's cold and some days it's hot. And sometimes it's rainy.

The weather is probably cool and cloudy in october, and the leaves are changing. Sometimes it's probably cool and rainy. I live in a state that's very close to Illinois, so that's my guess based on what it's like in my state.
