We aren't mexican and we don't even look mexican. 65% of Cuba's population is white, and that number was originally much larger before Panamanians and Hatians came and mixed with us making the other percentage of the population black. Not tan, black. My moms side of the family are mostly blondes or light brunettes with blue, green, or hazel eyes while my fathers side are mixed with black so they're dark skined but without the kinky hair texture. I'm some where in between those two so that's why I look the way I do.
It's annoying when my mexican friends call me white and my american friends say I look mexican. While both agree that my mom looks caucasian and my dad looks INDIAN... Just setting the record straight because there is alot of confusion as you can see. e-e -
I know someone whose parents are from Cuba. She looks about the way you described.

Mexican is a nationality, not a race. That's like saying you're part Canadian. No s--- Cuban's aren't Mexican, they're Cuban.
