I work on stories offline so I can post them here when I have the time. I'm currently working on one that has (so far) two scenes involving blood. I know the site has a rule about posting gory pictures or links to something gory, but what about writing? And, it's not necessarily gory, what I wrote, but I want to make sure it's okay.

As long as it's not too descriptive it should be fine :) mentioning of blood should be okay
Like "blood stained his shirt"
But graphic descriptions and gruesome scenes as if it were intended for an adult audience? Probably not. Basically if it seems too violent to add into a book aimed at a teen demographic (13+) then it's probably best to simplify it -

I do want to say some violence and descriptions are fine of course! But basically just remember that the violence should be suitable for a 13-14 yr old reader -
