If you go to post a swear word, as you probably know, it'll come out mostly blanked out lines, with enough to tell what word it is. Why do they do this: it's useless. I mean, you can tell what swear word it is, so it's not as if they're hiding it from us. We understand. And if we want to asterix it, we will! We don't need a website to do it for us. Anyways, this was random so not many people will post, but I thought I'd put that out there.

if they blanked out the whole word it makes what someone is saying really confusing sometimes. and I guess if someone doesn't know the word, just seeing the 1st letter doesn't tell them anything. but everyone knows swear words. and if they don't now, they will soon enough. -
it's for little kids. Some little kids dont need to be learing those words yet. So blanking out all but the first letter lets the older people know what it is, but leaves the smaller children in blissful ignorance.

Yes, I agree with Ork. Lately my little sister has been watching me type because she likes the "stories" that I create with everyone here. And though I know she'll learn them soon enough, I feel happy that she can't see the entire word ^-^
