It would be nice if there was something that said when the latest post was. It would say what forum, how long, and maybe what user. In my opinion, it would be best on the forum index above the forums.
While I'm at it, I feel like later on in development, if possible, gtq could ha e a notification system. I've been thinking about it for a while, and I just thought it wasn't within budget or something. But I just wanted to share it now. You could set preferences, like when there's a new post in a selected thread. You could do something similar for a user, like be notified when that user posts, or posts in a specific thread.
One last idea I have.
What if there was restrictions. Moderators could set this if requested. Only specific users could post in a thread (aside from mods), or have a code that a user got when making a thread, or by asking a moderator to message them privately what that code is

We already have recent posts, timers for when the last post in each forum was, most recent posts at the top of each forum, and the names of the people to make those last posts. I'm not sure why we'd need more. It actually sounds excessive as is when I write it all out like this.
I've always like the idea of notifications. I'm not sure how much work it'd be for GTQ Guy, but I feel like it can't be too easy.
That would make this a chatroom platform and no one would ever interact with each other again. It's been suggested and shot down in the past. -
It's nice to get a response, and it seems reasonable. However, it sounds like you're shooting off my ideas, and it makes me sad a bit

Well- your first idea is not necessary, and the last idea is a no-no, but the second is passable in my opinion.

Forums are just a part of the whole GTQ. It's not even meant to be a "make friends" platform. I kinda don't get it why we all are giving suggestions to improve the forums and not the site as a whole.
Anyway, notification thing would be good. -

Well, as far as the site itself, I just think it would be better if it had an app. It's way tiring to make quizzes or polls on mobile, I actually can't even make polls on my phone -
GTQ Guy should release an app but it'll be a lot of work. He can't do it on his own. Besides, there's this budget thing.

This site is completely free for usexcept if time were a currency then we waste it all on hereand it's kind of easy to be critical of the way it's set up.
But I will say the notifications system is a good idea and one that I've often thought of.

Well that's true, and I understand he has a budget. However, couldn't he ask a developer or someone who works in stuff like that?
