yeah i never got why they were taken off the front page
is gtq guy ashamed or are the forums supposed to be like a secret hideout lol -
I honestly think it should stay like this? Ever since the change was made there has been a steady decline of users joining the forums, which in return has lowered spam by a lot and edgeposts equally as much. Yes, having it back on the front page would be easier, but I think sacrificing that extra 5 seconds of your time for the benefit of the forums as a whole is the better rout to take,

It'd be pretty cool to be able to get to the forums from the front page again. Not sure why that stopped being a thing in the first place.

Just bookmark the forums page. The fact that there isnt a direct link isnt too big a problem. As evidenced by the new users they are still quote easy to find imo
