like... how can the music industry fail when music is literally life
that doesn't make sense
everyone would die without music
they have no choice but to pay for it -
^that is the dumbest thing I have ever seen
Why do you think records and CDs are no longer bought? The evolution of technology and the internet. People can torrent, supply, host, and download FREE music, decreasing sales of albums being purchased on iTunes or any other online music stores. -
that's true, but I am referring to writing BEYOND grammar
-
then the music industry is technically still doing good, because online music stores that offer music legally like itunes are getting money like you said...lmao
and what about copyright? wouldn't that stand in the way of a lot of people trying to spread it illegally? or has it just gone out of control for some reason -
ohhhhh you said itunes is decreasing in sales
ok im dumb goodbye -
they host websites on servers that are in different countries to avoid certain US laws and prohibitions, including copyright, slander, libel, etc. (ex. encyclopedia dramatica)
VPN services exist and the hosters will always bring the content back up even if they are taken down (example, The Silk Road)
the increased demand of music + rising the price of albums because of huge demand + not a lot of people wanting to pay or not having the money to pay = people going incognito to post music online for free where people access those websites -
wait!
i have one final question
why replace oxygen with music anyway? can't we just plant more trees? :( -
terribly unfunny question
-
oh
so no answer?
ok -
takes more money, takes more resources
-
yep, establishing a whole new order of society with its own complex set of rules is way easier than planting trees
