1714, why are you so argumentative? What does it help? You disagree on why they deleted a thread--no one expects you to agree with everything, but most people are going to agree with most things the mods delete. Maybe you think nothing should be deleted ever? But that's not how it works at this site or on most other sites. Almost every forum on the internet is moderated at some level.

Wtf? Most people aren't supposed to disagree with most things the mods do. They're supposed to deal with obvious spam and 18+ content which we would all support being moderated. And because there hasn't been any lately and they want to feel useful, they're classing any thread as spam that doesn't fit their ocd expectation of what a thread "should be".

This is a problem with the ocd mods applying their personal views onto fun users. Tell them to loosen up and only moderate if necessary.

They only agree with the moderators because that's who presents the current "status quo" of the website, the ones who managed to maintain their reputable presence and relevancy throughout such prolonged time, but if the userbase has other rational purposes to divide themselves and the website even further and come into the moderator's conclusion or mine (which is never), then so be it, I can't convince people to be on my side, it's there choice in what they believe. I am aware of moderation, but they vary from websites and what differs from other moderators on different websites and this one is that they know what they are actually doing and can decipher what is what. Deleting a thread based on past activities that are irrelevant pretty much says that the moderators have much more motivations than to "moderate" the forums. I think they know there's no close proximity between those threads, they have some hidden reason to just delete something and leave a legitimate user puzzled.
They have nothing else to preoccupy themselves with, so of course the gracious and harmonious dictator makes the grand decision to delete ONE thread that didn't cause harm NOR didn't get much complaints from anyone. -
*People tend to follow elites when they don't have much substance to present from their inner mind. Elites have done what they can't, so why not just stick to them and use them as a prop for a void I failed to fulfill?

How is that doing your jobs? I mean you were deleting but deleting a thread that didn't deserve deletion in the first place.

We deleted several blank post and "deport ___" threads which that account has been steadily cranking out for days (maybe weeks, but we're not going back that far), because they were spammy and were only created to fill space. It's an established troll account which has been used for spam and to attack other users in the past,
