In my opinion...
Most forums have this:
"Recent posts-" we have this thing on the Desktop version of the GTQ Forums' index page. If it happens to be in the front page, it'd bring attention to the forums. But the bad thing is, if GTQ Guy fails to make it creative, it'd be nothing but just a piece of annoying box on the front page.
"Who's online-" We don't have this. It'd be pretty cool if we are able to find who's online and who's offline. But at the same time, if we just see some of our friends online but they're not posting on our threads, some of us may be emotionally turned off. If it's on the front page, and if it displays all accounts including basic accounts, I guess it'd be a long list, which might be annoying.
My conclusion: ✌ -
Ok. Maybe we could set a link like veiw all acounts who is online stuff like that.

Just put a circle beside the account's name in profile pages. If he/she's online, it will turn to green, and if not, it will stay black or grey.
