I've had a few ideas in mind, as well as I wanted to support what has already been said, so... Yeah! Let's get into this!
Suggestion #1- A forum for forum games
I was recently comparing our site to another forum site, and I realized that one of the few things we're missing is a forum for forum games. You know, all of the things like "screw, marry, or kill" and "rate the avatar above you" and such.
They're all kind of sprawled out around the forums right now, but I feel like games dominate the more serious forums and push down threads that could have a really good discussion. It would be nice to have a forum made just for those games. And, there's no need to worry about using a bot to move threads there- the moderators can move the currently-in-use threads if the forum were to be created.
Suggestion #2- Add underline and fix linking
We have some really cool UBB codes, but one of the ones we're missing is underlining. I like underlining titles, but that particular code isn't available. I feel like it could be somewhat useful.
Also, linking. It's not really broken, but I find it rather annoying that you have to take out the "s" in some links that start with "https". Is there something about GTQ's coding that prevents those kinds of links from being directly linked? It would be nice to be able to just copy paste without worrying about whether or not there's an s you need to take out.
Suggestion #3- Language support besides English
When you first moved/updated GTQ, users were able to use characters involved in other languages that weren't previously available. We were even able to post things like Lenny faces, which was honestly really cool. However, it appears that.. It wasn't meant to happen. Which, kind of saddens me. A lot.
I'm in Spanish 1 currently, and I've been learning about the important of the little squiggle line (~) as well as the line things that look like this (/). However, because GTQ doesn't support it, I can't really type anything in that language. Properly, anyway. I can still put "adios" without its special marking, but it would be a lot more meaningful to have the line thing. I think we should support languages and characters for other languages. It would make the site a lot more friendly towards those who can type other languages and want to share them. It also helps google translate not get really, really confused.
Suggestion #4- Word Filter
So, again, I was comparing our site to another site. Something that interested me a lot was their take on the curse filter. Many racial slurs are banned and put into a word filter, but I noticed that many curse words actually aren't blocked. I'm not positive, but I think they allow these words:
f---
s---
Bulls---
Ass
a--hole
Dick
b----
What was really interesting to me was that that site is meant for 13+. GTQ is currently made for 15+ (although you can create accounts as a 13 year old). I'm not trying to question this, because I know every site is different, but I think it's weird that a site meant for an older population would block words like that and others won't. Personally, I don't mind because I can make out words with the little dashes, but I feel like this should be taken as food for thought.
Also, what is REALLY annoying is when I try to link a song that's Japanese and it has the word "s---" in it. Or, any link to anything, for that matter. Some words have those letters in them, and it sucks that the filter blocks innocent words and that people have to type the word out on their own.
Also, as what someone else said, some places and names have words like "cum" in them. It can get frustrating for the filter to change c u m to come. It looks weird, too. Like, who is Benedict Comberbatch?
I had some more, but I forgot them, so I'll have to mention them another time. Thanks for criticizing/agreeing/checking this stuff out. -
I agree.

I agree. I was recommending a Japanese title ( anime) And got called a Weaboo because I ' mispelled' it. It was filtered because it had s--- in it.

Everything GTQ guy has done shows that he intends for this to target children under 15.

note that Dark's 13 -
either twelve through fourteen

If this is targeted for, let's say 13, then I still stand on my suggestions because as stated the other site is meant for 13+ as well.

Considering he made someone who openly stated they were below the allowed age a mod, he has basically declared the age limit as purely cosmetic. Furthermore, due to there being no move whatsoever to remove the accounts of underage people the site is effectively allowing them on and declaring the 13+ as BS by not taking action even though it is possible.
