THE SPAM IS LITERALLY ALWAYS ON THE LOUNGE. What am I suppose to notify? Oh, The whole Lounge. It's right there and for your eyes to see. 30-40% of the time they go directly into your thread, but why notify when it's the whole stupid forum and it's pretty evident from there?
Protect them from the spam? They were already in the spam. Seriously? Really?
You're not a superhero, you're not some Senator from the Senate, and it's highly hilarious how this whole thing can get to a person's head.
I honestly don't think you people should continue to be moderators. I have no idea why there hasn't been another election to gather another group of moderators that could also be reasonable and not screech at people with "HARASSMENT" and "JOKING ABOUT SUICIDE OH s--- EVEN THOUGH WE WEREN'T" and calling people names because of a few jokes that meant no harm but you expect other people to be so light and understanding on your jokes and all these enforced rules that came out of f---ing no where and pulling out rules that all of you have been seen of breaking.
Also ignoring people with different voices of opinion and not hearing anything else that anybody has to say, you people are literally so close-minded and authority is not meant for 14 year olds like you. I can get why they chose Maru and Selena because they are much more qualified, but I'm not happy with the other choices. There's other users that have more expertise and the kindness that comes with being a moderator on a quiz site. They also know how to chill and look on the other side that this isn't a f---ing career and isn't that serious. You people are just there to load off a lot of work from the admin, that's all. Oh wow, you have extra special features, but besides that you're still a regular user.
I can't insult? I can't criticize how the way you people are doing it? So you expect a bunch of positivity for all the "oh poor you, so super hard to just look through junk and click a button and manage". Some people will have problems with what you do and some will lick your feet for eternity. I happen to not favor you as a moderator or as a user, many don't favor me either and I'm grand with that and I don't expect everyone to rejoice to my feet for "hard" work or whatever you want to call pounding your keyboard. -

we're doing our best to help out, but like dark said, gtq guy is always throwing new things out at us, making changes, and we have to get used to them
we're trying to get rid of the spammers the best we can but sometimes it doesn't always happen immediately

And just so you know, the suicide thing might have been brought up because of your 'joking' but it has been an issue for a while. Stop thinking that it's all about you, because it isn't. Your immaturity just gave them the inspiration to do something about it.
Get the f--- over it an stop b----ing. The mods were selected by GTQ Guy. If they do something he has a problem with, he'll step in. -

Actually, you're wrong. It's been in almost every forum. The Lounge is the spammer's hot spot, but people have reported it in the Stage, F&U, and I've seen it in rarely visited places like the Gym. I'll admit, if there's over a page in the Lounge, you shouldn't have to say "well s--- mods I'll link you every thread of spam that's right in front of you in the Lounge." But if there are a few threads here and there that we haven't seen but you have, please, do report it. Especially if it's in a personal thread that we skip over/don't see. Deletion of spam and ultimately taking down trolls is not only a moderator effort. It's a joint effort between users and moderators. What we don't see, it's up to you guys to show us. We're more than happy to take care of it and credit you for having found that piece of spam.
Not too sure about the point of that little paragraph. Yeah, there's always spam, but there wasn't as much as there could have been. With our struggles lowkey, the spammers had no clue what was going on. I'm sure that if they had known our offensive buttons were down, you'd have never seen a single conversation thread during that time. So we actually.. You know.. Were protecting the users. From an overwhelming amount of spam, anyway.

I only present myself as what I am if someone asks for help from someone at a moderator status. I don't go into a normal conversation and say "oh hey I'm a moderator!!! do what I say!!!" You're the only one who thinks that I do that- or any of us, for that matter. In fact, Kish is the only one who flashes the blue border, and that's because of his double.
That's your opinion, and you know what? That's cool. We've tried to get more moderators on board. Alex3000 and BB are our newest recruits. However, like what BB said, there isn't anything wrong with us. And if there is, GTQ Guy can say something about it. We are actually quite reasonable. Whenever anyone asks for us to delete something, we look at whether or not we can do it. If someone wants back up, we assess the matter before going headstrong into it. If you're only concern is the rule about the harassment of suicidal users, then I'm afraid you really have no leverage on why we aren't reasonable. A few users asked us to do something about it. A lot of people were sick of how that group was being handled. We looked at all of the reasons why it counted as offensive. Is it just our own opinion, or do other people actually care? Do the posts seem to be hurting said person, or are they nothing but a joke that got taken seriously? Does it count as true harassment? Besides the moral aspect about it, are there legal issues? What could happen to the users partaking in this type of action? Would we be able to help the depressed group better by placing this rule down? There are several other questions that had to be asked before we made it. I can assure you that it wasn't on a whim. We knew there would be arguments over it, but when the topic posed a threat to more than one user, we decided to take action. Which, by the way, the rule wasn't made just because of you. It's been an issue for quite some time. We just decided to take action.
That accusation is false. We listen to several different voices of opinion. But when there is a large majority of the site being affected by something, we're going to side with the majority. I actually enjoyed seeing ILHOAY's points about why our ruling wasn't so secure. It showed me that there is another side of the community that doesn't agree with it. However, as you can see, the majority still stood beside the rule. Not to mention, they stopped posting because they didn't want to keep on going back and forth. Additionally, as much as I hate some of the things that some users say, I don't do much about it. In fact I've defended some users with unpopular opinions. (i.e. Slayerbrine getting hate from entire site about being against gays until s/he was hacked). Perhaps it's not meant for me, but I do not see GTQ Guy telling me I'm not doing this site right. Additionally, several users have complemented me for being so patient with them, and I've been featured in several posts/quizzes about how helpful I was and that I'm a decent moderator. I'll be of legal age for the site in a few months. I've proven I can be mature and have been told I act far older than my age. I haven't misused my powers yet. So until that happens, I'm not bothered by you saying I'm not meant for the job. Most others say otherwise. Even those who were originally against me when I first became a moderator are now with me.

I do beg your pardon here. Are you saying that I'm not nice? That I'm not kind? As mentioned before, I've had users thank me for what I've done for them. The only time I get over my head is surprisingly with you. Which, I'll admit, is bad. I shouldn't get over my head with anyone. Which is why I've changed my tone and outlook on you for the sake of this argument. I'm attempting to be understanding of your points. This one, though, I have to completely disagree with. Even the trolls have called me chill during arguments. I constantly engage in conversation with other users and I interact with the site. Being a moderator on this site isn't my only purpose. I want to meet new people and speak with them, too. The job of being a moderator is nice, and I do my duties when I can, but I'm pretty enjoyable I like to think. I make really s---ty jokes, too. Isn't that a great moderator quality? It just comes with the job. Here, have this meme!
You're right, we are regular users. Congratulations, you've found me out. What am I going to do? Oh, right. I'm gonna continue to be a normal human being and do what I need to. Like, lol? If I wasn't a human that would be really dope. But I am sadly and so is everyone else and I can't argue against humanity.
You can insult, you can criticize, but it's unnecessary. I was only telling the maker of this thread that we're doing our best to click the offensive button as hardcore as possible but the accounts aren't having it. You decided to make the insult of "oh wow so hard to press a button." You know what, maybe it IS hard to press a button! It's really hard! I have to hit offensive and then hit YES! That's two whole clicks and it's exhausting and-- Just kidding. It's not exhausting. But it sure would be nice to get an ounce of positivity from your mouth rather than griping and complaining. I'm not saying you have to lick my feet (actually please don't, that's not a kink for me and that sounds yucky) but sometimes it would be nice for you to be able to hold a conversation besides an argument. Personally I find it funny that you don't like me since (as mentioned in my thread) I've done a lot for you because I appreciated you at one point, but hey, everyone's mind changes at some point. Sorry to hear that yours changed so quickly. All I wanted to do was tell the owner of the thread our reason for not having taken care of some s---. Yeah I don't need to be worshiped for thatunless you're in the Darkism cult then you better f---ing worship me!!!but I also don't need to be insulted for it. -
