Has the user harmed another? Are they harassing anyone or breaking any of the rules? Until they do one of those things and you show proof, we cannot take action. Impersonating someone is not a reason to delete an account, I'm sorry to say.

I understand action can't be taken now because it's not in the rules, but is there any way you could run it last GTQ Guy to make it a rule? Please?

That idea would be difficult to manage. Suppose user A makes an account. They lose the account to a hacker. User A makes a new account, named User B. User A claims to be User B, and User B says no, they're user A but they were hacked. No one would know who is telling the truth. For all we know, user B is a faker and user A is the real user being framed. Taking action could result in harming an innocent vs taking down a faker.

That could easily be solved by having someone post a recent picture of themselves, or they could have the mods email them so they could tell the mods which account is theirs.

I could claim to be you and post a picture of myself. And if someone never posts a picture of themselves/can't, no one will ever know the difference. Plus, I can copy paste an old photo someone has posted. As for emailing.. I've known people who will email saying "I'm this person" when they aren't. It's really not that hard to trick people. I'm not saying we shouldn't have this, but it's just too easy to break down ways we all come up with.

A lot of people say to just post a picture of you holding a picture holding a paper with today's date on it.

1D luvr has not done that. They've posted no new pictures, only old ones from when I was 11 and 12. Although they've been told by multiple people that they're obviously a troll and don't believe them, they still continue. If there's any way this can be fixed until I find a reason in the rules, please let me know.
