  Since people will often get a thread going and then be forced to move it, but who wants to repost the entire conversation or constantly refer to the old one? That is why the thread created should have an option to move an entire thread and all the posts it contains to another founder with the click if a button. Agree?

  Possibly, but it could cause some problems, as if anyone could move any thread, trolls might take over this nice option and be constantly move other's threads into other forums to confuse the thread founder and their friends, so maybe this option should only be open to the thread's creator and mods? and what happens once new forums are added?

  No, it would only be available to the user who posted the thread and would need to be authorized by an admin

  That's what I'm saying but mods would also be able to authorize it, as GTQ Guy is the only admin here and he's rarely ever on. We're lucky he did all the s--- with the thread deletion process.

  Imagine all of the computer tech needed for this. Not impossible, I was on a website that allowed thread movement once, and the only one that could move the thread was the creator or a mod or admin, but it would be difficult to code into this website I'm sure.

  I agree with Momo. Besides, people shouldn't be putting threads in the wrong forum in the first place. I repeatedly point out where things go and users should be able to read what forum they're going in. A thread shouldn't need to be put in the wrong forum to have to be moved in the first place. Just saying.

  I'm about to create a space thread in the map room since there isn't a science or related to such, forum, and once there is, if there will be, then I would greatly enjoy being able to move it to the new science/close-related forum.
  
  P.S., the reason I'm putting my space thread
  in the map room is that it has to with a region (although above Earths surface) and I do not wish to put it in the Lounge, as it will easily be lost and be hard to retrieve, so I want to put it in a slower moving forum. If there are any objections to his, I will wait 30 minutes for a post here, and I will create a poll for it and have people vote on it, with the ending date set for tomorrow.
